The colors! This painting was inspired by the colors purple and green as well as flowers everywhere. I love the combination of purple allium and and lavender, lavender.
Our challenge in this painting is to create depth and focus in our painting.
I’ve painted this on an 8×16″ art board. Feel free to paint on the surface of your choice. I’ve used DecoArt Americana acrylics. Colors can be varied. Values are what is important.

This class is streamed to YouTube. Registered participants are sent the links for each of the two sessions. After the Live sessions the class is available as video for those registered to view at their convenience.
Registration information: When you register for the class I’ll send prep, photo, and line drawing. I’ll send the link for our class the week of the class. You will need to have a YouTube account to comment on the class.
